Sayyid Hamed bin Sultan Al Busaidi is currently the Executive Director of the Oman Center for Governance and Sustainability, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the Center.
He has participated in several projects and managed major committees and committees in the Capital Market Authority and played a prominent role in the development of the business. He contributed to the preparation of the second version of the Corporate Governance Charter issued by the Authority in 2015.
Sayyid Hamed Al Busaidi received an MBA from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom in 2006. His graduation project on corporate governancehad the effect of establishing a specialized department in the Capital Market Authority concerned with governance at the time.
Faris Mohammed Al Harthi is interested in the SME sector. He works in the financial services industry, serving SMEs in particular, monitoring their performance, and helping them improve their managerial skills.
With extensive years of experience in establishing and heading Communications & CSR departments and advising on Social Impact for leading companies in the Middle East, Lina Hussein has developed a strong professional backbone in her areas of speciality.
Throughout her career, she contributed significantly to the growth of a number of start-ups into market leadership; she has also worked with different sizes of enterprises to help them move from mere business-favoured performance into a more strategic responsible reputation and competitive market positioning.
Designing and managing development programmes between private and public organisations is also a key part of her work and passion.
In recent years, in addition to her duties in heading communication and social impact for a leading social investment initiative in Oman, she has worked closely with micro and small businesses and social enterprises, providing them with advisory and guidance in the area of communication and social impact. She has also architected start-ups support ecosystems, promoted social entrepreneurship, developed and led empirical research studies, and created local and international collaboration platforms.
She holds a Master’s degree in Strategy & Marketing from The University of Warwick in the UK and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Jordan. She is also a Certified Shared Value Consultant, bringing in latest global best practices in creating strategic social impact through business.
Yasmine has extensive prior experience in the creation, implementation and operation of governance systems, as well as business performance and risk management capabilities for private companies and family offices. Yasmine has a legal background and holds a degree in Law and Arabic from SOAS, University of London and has in-house corporate experience with a Global FMCG as well as private practice experience with an international law firm.
